Where does the allure of bonsai lie? What value does it have? These are questions that may be elusive to beginners.

There is an impressive power in bonsai that has been slowly created in its pot over decades. It's a miracle shaped by theory, time, and the era—the very miracle that leaves professionals in awe, elevating the appreciation of bonsai.

While various methods are used to gather wood for bonsai, I have a fondness for collected wood in the mountains. Trees that have survived for 100 or 200 years in the harsh realities of granite mountain peaks, gravelly slopes, or nutritionally scarce landscapes develop slender, gracefully bent branches with only a few roots.

These mountain trees, grown in challenging environments, are uprooted and transplanted into pots for appreciation at home. Bonsai is about savoring and enjoying the depth and beauty it exudes. I aspire to share the joy of creating and discussing bonsai with BONSAI LOVERS worldwide through the universal language of "BONSAI."
